REFUND, RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY

This Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs refunds, returns, replacements, and cancellations for purchases made from physical retail stores and online platforms, including www.littlesapling.in, operated under the brand Little Sapling®?, owned and managed by Pratyaksha Agrotech Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", "our").

This Policy must be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. By placing an order with us, you expressly agree to this Policy.


1. Nature of Products

  • The Company primarily deals in fresh, perishable agricultural products, including vegetables, fruits, herbs, and allied items.
  • Due to their perishable nature, all sales are treated as final, subject to limited exceptions expressly stated below.

2. No-Return Policy

  • Returns are not accepted once products are delivered or delivery is attempted.
  • Change of mind, taste preference, size variation, or freshness expectations shall not qualify for return or refund.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Cancellation by Customer

  • Orders for perishable items cannot be cancelled once packing has started.
  • Cancellation requests, if permitted, must be raised immediately after placing the order.
  • Orders placed under subscriptions, promotional offers, or special pricing may not be eligible for cancellation.

3.2 Cancellation by Company

The Company reserves the right to cancel orders due to:

  • Stock unavailability
  • Quality control issues
  • Pricing or technical errors
  • Operational or delivery constraints
  • Force majeure events

In such cases, prepaid amounts shall be refunded as per Clause 6.


4. Failed Delivery & Customer Non-Responsiveness

  • If the delivery executive reaches the delivery location and the customer is unavailable or does not answer calls/messages, the delivery shall be treated as unsuccessful.
  • In such cases:
    • No refund shall be issued
    • No re-delivery shall be attempted
    • Order value shall stand forfeited, considering the perishable nature of goods

Repeated instances may lead to permanent restriction of future deliveries.


5. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

  • COD orders are confirmed with the expectation of acceptance and payment upon delivery.
  • Refusal to accept delivery, non-payment, or unreachability shall be treated as COD abuse.
  • The Company reserves the right to disable COD and/or block future orders from such customers.

No refunds or claims shall be entertained for losses arising from COD abuse.


6. Eligible Refund / Replacement Scenarios

Refunds or replacements may be considered only in the following limited cases:

  • Wrong item delivered
  • Product visibly damaged or spoiled at the time of delivery

Conditions:

  • Issue must be reported within 2 hours of delivery
  • Clear photographic evidence must be shared
  • Decision of the Company shall be final and binding

7. Mode & Timeline of Refunds

  • Approved refunds shall be processed to the original mode of payment only.
  • Refund timelines:
    • UPI / Wallets: 3–7 working days
    • Cards / Net Banking: 5–10 working days (subject to bank processing)
  • No cash refunds shall be made for digital payments.

8. Partial Refunds

  • Partial refunds may be issued in cases of partial non-availability or substitution issues, at the sole discretion of the Company.

9. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds shall not be issued for:

  • Natural variations in size, weight, color, or taste
  • Delays due to traffic, weather, or local restrictions
  • Incorrect address provided by customer
  • Customer unavailability at delivery
  • Promotional or discounted items (unless damaged or incorrect)

10. Dispute Resolution

All refund-related disputes shall be subject to internal review. The Company’s decision shall be final, subject to applicable law.


11. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. Updates shall be effective upon publication on the website.


12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
